Deidre, a High Maintenance Park Avenue Snob, is having a bad day. She died. Coming back to life in a poor immigrant's body didn't help.
Departed - A Feature Adventure With A Comical Edge
Deidre is a Park Avenue snob. Its all about her. But life changes when she is killed in a robbery. She comes back in the body of a poor immigrant worker. Of course, no one believes her story about being Deidre. Deidre is dead. As if things weren't bad enough, as she starts getting used to her new life, she is killed again, to pop up in a different body. This trend seems to continually happen without explanation. Each life brings a different adventure, drama, and some comedy.
The spirits that pop up after each death might have an answer. I'm sorry, did I forget to mention the spirits?
Her misadventures put her in the body of a poor immigrant worker, a lesbian with a tough girlfriend, and an elderly African American woman stricken with Alzheimer's disease.
Life, or death, could certainly be better than this.
But, in conclusion, all is not lost. One of the bodies she inhabits is a friend to someone with a psychic ability. The young friend is a 21 year old hip-hop wanna be performer, nicknamed 'Latina'. Okay, maybe all is lost!
But the two become committed to discovering what is going on with Deidre, and her life, or deaths. Well, actually Deidre is committed to finding an answer. Latina just wants to party. That's what a hip hop wanna be performer does, right? But Deidre is committed to getting Latina's help, one way or another.

Receive a complimentary 5 day class on film making. Learn the in's and out's of 'how to get a film made and sold.' Learn what is being looked for by distributors, and your audience. If you are looking to go to film school, this will cost you less, and you'll learn more. I will schedule 2 or 3 classes, or more, to try to accommodate every schedule. These classes will be held in Midtown Manhattan. You will need to supply your own editing system, preferably a laptop. You can still attend without an editing system, but you would have to figure out how to do your homework. I will supply a complimentary copy of Adobe Premier that is compatible with PC's, not Mac's. The first 10 contributors receive the $3500 reward, of being invited to observe / work on set with us. This would help round out your film making experience. The best way to learn how to make a film, is to make a film. You'll receive the classes, and actually put those lessons to use. I will not let you learn wrong. This is MY film. It has to be the best it can possibly be. I will guide you through the process.
