On Halloween of this year, my brother and I will wear costumes and go-pros and terrorize the neighborhood while recording our haunting.
Last Halloween (October of 2013), my brother and I dressed as burlap sack masked psychopaths in an attempt to scare people coming to our house to Trick-or-Treat. The picture associated with our Kickstarter is us in our original costumes. With little action going on at the house, we decided to expand our haunting and walk the streets of our neighborhood. It ended up much more successful than we had originally planned, with people around the neighborhood talking about our haunting for several months after it happened. This year, with Halloween on a Friday, we plan on taking it a step further. Instead of being a last minute decision, we have taken time to come up with the best outfits to wear and best behavior to act out to give our neighborhood the best scare it has ever had. They are looking forward to it, and we want to give them a show they wont forget. This Kickstarter will help us buy Go-Pro Cameras to film our night of neighborhood terror, which we will then turn into a dvd with short teaser videos uploaded onto Youtube. Our haunting was big last year, and we want to make it even bigger this year.
Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
Creating and editing the dvd of the haunting will be the most challenging aspect, as we have never taken on an editing challenge of this magnitude. With enough time, however, we can succeed and produce something great.
