The Zombie Outbreak Response Team seeks your help to conquer the massive zombie outbreak in the United States. The government has denied that this problem exists, silencing anyone who dares to speak up. It's time for the living to stand up against the undead threat.

The Zombie Outbreak Response Team is a social group of people that love all things zombie. Members of the team will travel around the country organizing outings to include: Zombie Hunt flash-mobs, movie nights and more. The team, lead by Topher Jones will debut at the 2010 Burning Man festival in Black Rock City, Nevada and then travel around the to various events.

This funding effort will help establish the group, fund the completion of the Dissension Express (the ZORT command vehicle) and further develop the ZORT website.

The Team
The Zombie Outbreak Response Team is a crack team of volunteer mercenaries fighting the zombie threat. The team will destroy zombie threats where ever they appear with specially modified zombie killing Nerf guns.

Our elite team of zombie scientists have been able to predict when and where zombie flashmob outbreaks will occur and help coordinate ZORT attacks.

The Truck
The Dissension Express is a big bad ass Peterbuilt semi to be converted into a monstrous zombie killing command post. Complete with propane flamethrower, firing ports and a zombie cow tipper this beast will be an instrumental part of the team's success.

Character in design from years past meets technology and innovation of today. The Dissension Express is an experiment in retrofitting in a throw-away culture. Built from mostly recycled and re-purposed materials, this nomadic monster shows that anything is possible with a little creativity.

The Dissension Express is a 45 foot long 1974 Peterbilt service truck being converted into a monstrous zombie fighting command post. Complete with propane flamethrowers, firing ports and a zombie cow tipper, the beast will be able to take on all undead forms, big and small. The conversion is currently being done at the world famous Nimby Art Studio in Oakland, California.

When completed, the truck will be a fully functioning, bio-diesel run, solar and wind power generating art car/RV/command post that will travel around the country while fighting zombie outbreaks and getting into other shenanigans. The truck will also feature a unique system that will allow the box to separate itself from the chassis of the truck. This will allow the fully functional command post to stay in place while the chassis is used elsewhere. This system will also allow the truck to quickly and easily swap one box for other future boxes.
