Sometimes miscommunication is the only way we can really understand each other.
Thank you for checking out our project. You Never Really Seem to Have a Suntan in Washington is a story loosely based on a couple I met while living in Europe. They had been together for a long time and were very much in love. The man was German and the woman was Japanese. They communicated through English, which neither of them could speak. I became fascinated with their interactions and just how connected they were even though they really had no good way of verbally communicating.
This movie is a story that explores the idea of love and magic through miscommunication. Through a series of misunderstandings, Bence and Sophie, the two main characters in the movie, become acquainted and begin an adventure together all by accident.
We need your help to raise money so the movie can be made and Bence can go on his adventure with Sophie. Any amount is greatly appreciated and we have some amazing rewards for your donations. This is all or nothing funding so if we don't reach our goal of $2,300 we don't get any of the funds we raise. You will not be charged until the end of the 30 days and ONLY if we meet our goal. We really appreciate your help and support.
The money will be used to help pay the cast and crew for their time as well as food, props, and post production. We are shooting the movie locally in Salt Lake City. The script is completed and we are ready to shoot as soon as we raise the money to begin.
Thanks again for checking out the project!
